Job Title : AG-Shuttle Driver at Airgas
Location : Grand Prairie, TX
Pay : $27.50/hour plus potential for quarterly bonuses. Monday-Friday Day Shift.

Overview Airgas is hiring an Interbranch Shuttle Driver in Grand Prairie, TX to safely transport cylinder gases and hard goods between branches and plants using company semi tractor‑trailers. Drivers are part of a professional team, encouraged to grow, and enjoy work/life balance with Airgas' modern fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Drive a truck capacity >3 tons to transport compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders, and hard goods to other branch locations.
Maintain accurate records such as DOT Driver's Logs and vehicle logs, complying with state and federal regulations.
Complete and balance load manifests and all other vehicle documents before and after deliveries.
Pick up empty cylinders from branch locations and return them to the plant for refilling, adhering to all regulations.
Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment for loading and unloading trucks following company policies and procedures.
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, document any deficiencies, and ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
Communicate in person with internal customers, providing information regarding order and delivery times.
Qualifications
Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements.
Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
Ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
One year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years with a clean driving record according to specified criteria.
Alternatively, a diploma from an accredited driving school and a minimum of one year of prior driving experience within the last five years may be considered.
Minimum age 21 years.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary safety credentials for customer site access.
Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs; occasionally 76–125 lbs with material handling equipment.
Ability to work in inclement weather, flexibility for overtime, and operate in a drug‑free workplace.
Physical Demands
Lifting & Transporting: Regularly transport up to 60 lbs; occasionally move loads up to 800 lbs using material handling equipment.
Mobility & Activity: Sit for extended periods while driving; frequently walk through company and customer locations.
Communication: Actively listen and verbally exchange information with customers and colleagues.
Work Conditions: Must be able to work in inclement weather, flexible for overtime, and operate in a drug‑free workplace.
