Job Details Location: Climax Mine (Leadville, CO) Shift: 4 days on + 5 days off (rotated weekly) Pay Rate: $32.00 – $52.60 per hour + location differential Sign‑on Bonus: $3,000 (details given during interview) and referral bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities
Maintain truck and crane inspection logs daily
Complete CAT service reports daily that are legible, have proper grammar and sentence structure, and appropriate SIMS code
Transmit photos, timecards, service reports, and other information through e-mail
Maintain good customer records on jobs that have been assigned
Maintain credit card receipts for accounting purposes
Work with the Service Department, Product Support Representatives, and Sales Department to meet all of the customer’s needs
Communicate with customers on the diagnosis and status of repairs, parts, and other concerns
Teach and coach other technicians in the field
Promote Wagner Equipment Co. to customers
Accurately troubleshoot and repair CAT equipment the first time
Read, understand, and apply electrical and hydraulic schematics to repair work
Safely rig or hook components for lifting
Remove, repair, and install major components in varying configurations of equipment
Maintain tooling in good working order as per MSHA and OSHA regulations
Make determinations in the field on warranty repair and guidelines, communicating decisions to customer and dispatcher
Maintain service vehicle in safe and good repair
Ability to travel up to 75% or as required
Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Relevant CAT related courses
5+ years’ experience servicing heavy equipment
1+ year administrative/clerical experience
3+ years customer service experience
3+ years sales experience
Additional Eligibility Requirements
DOT Health Card
Class D Driver’s License
MSHA License
Competencies
Data entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
Safety & product knowledge
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
Intermediate knowledge of DBS
Intermediate knowledge of ET/SIS/SIS Web/STW
Ability to work independently with little or no direction
Well‑rounded knowledge of CAT equipment
Work Environment
Noise: Loud
Environment: Indoors and outdoors
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, etc.
Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more
