About The Role
Arthur Lodge Vets in West Sussex is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients. This role involves greeting clients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, supporting the veterinary team, and managing a busy reception desk with professionalism. Key Responsibilities
Attend 40 hours per week, 5 days a week; share weekend rota. Welcome clients and their pets on arrival. Book appointments and record arrivals on the RX Works diary. Promote the Healthcare Plan and schedule follow-up appointments. Assist vets and nurses with queries. Scan paperwork into pet digital records. Liaise with clients about appointment booking and medication collection. Order food and medication. Process payments immediately after treatment and handle finance applications. Manage reception desk, emails, and social media efficiently. Required Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a customer‑facing role in the veterinary or medical industry. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Genuine love for animals and commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Proficient with computer systems and software; experience using RxWorks is a significant advantage. Additional Information
