Pay: $40/hr
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Start Date: January 7, 2026
End Date: End of 2025–2026 School Year
Modality: In‑Person
About the Role Amergis is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide quality instruction and support for middle school students (grades 5–8). You’ll collaborate with general education staff, write IEPs, and work with a small caseload in a supportive environment.
Position Highlights
Caseload: 10 students
Classroom Type: Middle School, push‑in model with para support
Responsibilities:
Write and implement IEPs
Provide specialized instruction
Address behavioral needs
Collaborate with general education teachers
Interview: Virtual with SPED Director

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Valid state teaching certificate (Special Education endorsement preferred)

Must be at least 18 years old
