Position An exciting opportunity has arisen for a

Domestic Assistant

based at

Arran War Memorial Hospital .

What You Will Do Based at Arran War Memorial Hospital and working within Clinical Support Services you will undertake a variety of housekeeping, cleaning and meal/show duties. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment, an understanding of food safety standards or working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Requirements Applicants should be physically fit, understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment and be flexible in regard to areas worked within Arran War Memorial Hospital. The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.

Hours & Contract

Position 1 – 30 hours per week contract – 12:30pm to 7pm with 30 minute break (mid‑week; flexible within rota). This is a 30‑hour permanent post, providing support services which include cleaning and basic meal service. Full training will be provided.

There is flexibility within rotas to allow the successful candidate to agree working days and times (between 7am and 7pm). The days and times do not have to be the same every week as you will be part of a team. Consideration would also be given to job sharing.
