Position We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Safety and Security Staff based at Foxgrove National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service within Ayrshire Central Hospital. This post is for two fixed‑term (18 month) positions.

What You Will Do You will be based at Foxgrove National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service within Ayrshire Central Hospital and will work alongside the Service Manager and multidisciplinary team to assist in the completion of final development of pathways and processes focusing on security systems. Your responsibilities will include maintaining critical aspects of security systems – procedurally, relationally and operationally – and building the culture and ethos of the service prior to its opening in 2025.

Knowledge, Training and Experience Required

Relevant experience in a security or customer–related environment

Highly developed interpersonal, communication, planning and organisational skills

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Excellent organisational skills

Ability to fulfil main duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description

Full driving licence

Ability to work autonomously within a highly pressurised environment

Hours 37 hours per week (this post is shift work including night shift rotation). This post includes 2x fixed‑term (18 month) positions.

UK Driving Licence / Car Ownership A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
