Job Overview Walts Landscaping and Lighting is seeking a dependable and skilled Driver/Technician to join our Field Operations team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll operate trucks with dump trailers, transport materials, and assist in the installation of landscape elements including lighting, plants, and irrigation systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high‑quality equipment, and thrives in a supportive, team‑driven environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and drive trucks with dump trailers for material transport.

Assist with residential landscape installations including

Planting

Landscape lighting

Irrigation systems

Operate and maintain landscape equipment, including mini skid steers and other tools.

Perform basic tool maintenance and ensure equipment is kept in safe working condition.

Load and unload materials at job sites.

Work with the team to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to company standards.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Support weekend or overtime work as needed to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications 5+ years of landscaping or field technician experience is preferred.

Valid driver’s license with experience operating trucks and dump trailers.

Experience operating mini skid steer and various landscape tools.

Strong understanding of plant installation, irrigation systems, and landscape lighting.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.

Location On‑site field operations throughout the local area (must live near the shop for reliability)
