Job Overview Walts Landscaping and Lighting is looking for a motivated and dependable General Laborer to support our Field Operations team. This part‑time, hands‑on role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn the landscape trade and contribute to high‑quality outdoor installations. You’ll assist with plantings, material transport, lighting setup, and site prep. Ideal for individuals who are bilingual (English/Spanish), have a valid driver’s license, and want to grow in a respectful and team‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Drive company trucks to and from job sites (must have valid license).
Install trees, shrubs, and perennials according to design plans.
Properly handle, place, and plant materials (ball & burlap, container stock, etc.).
Prepare planting beds including grading, soil prep, and amendments.
Prune, stake, mulch, and finish plant installations to professional standards.
Identify plants and understand basic care requirements (sun, spacing, water).
Assist with general landscape installation tasks as needed.
Maintain clean, organized job sites.
Work as part of a small, skilled crew on residential projects.
Be available for occasional weekend work based on project needs.
Qualifications
2+ years of landscaping experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Basic understanding of landscape tasks (e.g., planting, hauling, digging).
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction respectfully.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Weekly pay cycle.
