Are you a food service professional with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to guests? You might be just what we're looking for in our next breakfast attendant. Our busy hotel is looking for a detail-oriented person to set up and take down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You'll also need to walk throughout the dining area, refilling coffee and beverages, and cleaning up used plates and utensils. 3-4 shifts a week and timing 5 AM-11 AM
Responsibilities
Use appropriate procedures for removing used plates, glasses, and silverware in an efficient manner throughout breakfast service
Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
Provide attentive service to guests in the dining area by taking orders, and serving food and drinks
Sanitize and ensure cleanliness of all buffet bar areas, including tables and chairs, and empty trash as needed
Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
Qualifications
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
Compensation $15 per hour
About Hampton Inn Lincoln South Heritage We're just off Highway 2, seven miles from downtown attractions including the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and boutique businesses like Hurts Donut Co. and the Marcus Lincoln Grand Cinema in the historic Haymarket district.
