The FOH Lead will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. FOH Lead responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the kitchen and bar, check‑in with customers and balance seating capacity. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast‑paced environment
RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES
Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations Deliver superior service and maintain customer satisfaction Respond effectively and accurately to customer complaints Regularly review product quality Organize and supervise shifts Estimate future needs for goods, paper products and cleaning products Ensure compliance with sanitary and safety regulations Manager restaurant’s exceptional image and suggest ways to improve Assist in controlling operational costs and identify measures to cut waste and labor costs Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices QUALIFICATIONS
College degree is preferred. Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative. Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel). Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager Proven customer service experience as a manager Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff. Acute financial management skills Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must agree to background and credit check. PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing. Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance. The ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards. Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems. Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities. Ability to determine applicability of experience and qualifications of job applicants. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Keeps the Airport Director of Operations promptly and fully informed of all issues (i.e. problems, unusual matters of significance and positive events) and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action. Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with OHM Concession Groups policies and procedures. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness. At all times provides a favorable image of OHM to promote its “We Care” philosophy. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours may vary if the manager must fill in for his/her employees or if emergencies arise (typical work week = 50 hours). Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when needed. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operating phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment. PERKS
