CEO for our 3 different shops in the United States (1 shop in Atlanta Georgia College Park; 1 shop in California Van Nuys; 1 shop in Wisconsin Milwaukee), responsible for overseeing all aspects (around 260 employees) of a legal entity. You report to the EVP Customer Support and Services. This position combines the responsibility of managing the day‑to‑day aspects of production while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Responsible for Production and Operations: oversee production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability of operations. Ensure production processes run smoothly, production targets are met, and delivery deadlines are respected. Team and Human Resources Management: manage all personnel on‑site, including recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management of teams, and relationships with unions if necessary. Ensure the safety and health of employees by enforcing safety regulations. Ensuring Quality and Compliance with Standards: implement and maintain quality management systems so that products repaired or manufactured meet quality and compliance standards, whether internal, industry, or regulatory. Compliance with Regulations and Legal Obligations: ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws regarding health, safety, environment (HSE), and labor law, including waste management, industrial emissions, and energy consumption. Risk and Safety Management: implement safety procedures to protect employees, facilities, and the environment; manage industrial risks and plan crisis responses (fire, accidents, major breakdowns). Innovation and Continuous Improvement: seek ways to continuously improve industrial processes and maximize productivity, implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods. Local Strategic Planning: translate the company’s strategic objectives into specific operational goals for the site while responding to strategic decisions made at the corporate level. Qualifications
General understanding of MRO operations, including scheduling, resource planning, maintenance procedures and quality systems. Creativity in finding solutions in a dynamic environment to meet assigned objectives. Customer‑centric with strong communication skills in English. Demonstrated direct‑report and team leadership experience. Highly motivated, self‑directed, with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements relevant to operations and aircraft maintenance. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, professionalism, and superior attention to detail. Experience in managing operations, including MRO maintenance, quality, safety and production. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to articulate market and business needs to senior leadership and direct reports to enable growth and execution. Ability to understand and adapt to different cultures. Ability to work in a matrix organization. Requires 7+ years of progressive management experience with increasing responsibility in a manufacturing/repair environment, preferably in the aerospace industry. Job Details
