We are seeking an experienced
Second‑Shift Painter
to apply high‑quality finishes in accordance with MIL‑SPEC paint standards. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with polyurethane paints and epoxy coatings in a manufacturing or industrial production environment. This role is essential in ensuring our components meet strict industry, customer, and government requirements.
Responsibilities
Apply paint finishes to components using spray equipment, following MIL‑SPEC and internal quality standards.
Mix, prepare, and apply polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and primers.
Inspect surfaces and finished parts for defects, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and process sheets.
Maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and mixing areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Record materials used, and processes completed in accordance with documentation requirements.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School (High school diploma) or GED
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace painting.
Hands‑on experience with MIL‑SPEC paint systems.
Proficiency with polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and related application methods.
Ability to operate spray guns, mixing systems, and other painting tools.
Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
Ability to work safely with chemicals, solvents, and PPE.
High attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
Pay Range:
18.00 - 23.00 hourly plus 10% shift differential . Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
