Barista – Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort – Full Time Year Round
At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this daily at Dollywood Resorts, which include over 600 rooms and 15 food & beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our future plans include growing our resort footprint to over 1,200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood.
We are seeking a Barista who embodies the heart and soul of our mission and will provide guests with quality food and beverages, while maintaining a great work environment for our hosts and vendors. This individual will be driven to create meaningful experiences, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the profitability and unique offerings of Dollywood Resorts.
Responsibilities
Welcomes customers promptly with a professional and friendly attitude.
Determines customers’ needs and educates them by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answers questions.
Prepares and sells hot and cold beverages, including coffee and espresso drinks, following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques.
Sells a variety of prepared food items and uses proper equipment to heat items when necessary.
Stocks and presents food/beverage items to standard.
Orders/requisitions food and supplies through lead/sous chef.
Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes.
Uses POS accurately; handles cash and credit card transactions as directed.
Participates in upsell strategies as directed by management.
Participates in daily line ups.
Practices service standards and current training throughout service.
Education & Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year job‑related experience.
Must be able to obtain food handler certification.
Flexible availability to include weekends, holidays, and daytime or evening schedule.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Must pass a pre‑employment background check and drug test.
