As a Production Representative, you'll provide our customers with fresh, made‑in‑store products such as salads, sandwiches, and pizzas, while maintaining department and food‑safety/sanitation standards.
Once you're eligible, you'll become an owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and customer service.
Responsibilities
Provide fast, fresh, and friendly customer service, working as part of a team with a great attitude.
Commit to improving culinary skills and using them in a fast‑paced environment.
Support the team’s focus on excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Roles
Production / Food Service: Cuts, slices, dices, chops, and prepares food according to recipe specs and SOPs; packages, labels, stocks, and rotates made‑in‑store products; completes tasks at assigned workstation; assists in multiple food‑prep areas; assists with catering orders as needed; performs other duties as required.
Food Safety / Sanitation: Complies with H‑E‑B food safety and sanitation standards; properly handles temperature integrity of all ingredients, product, and equipment; maintains sanitation in food prep areas; operates and maintains equipment; collaborates to ensure a safe, clean, productive operation.
Customer Service: Provides internal customer service; assists customers as needed.
Qualifications
Culinary training or work experience and food preparation experience (preferred).
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Minimum age 18.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in food preparation and equipment (preferred).
Culinary certification or equivalent combination of culinary training / work experience (preferred).
Culinary knowledge, understanding of nutritional values and ingredients.
Reading and writing skills.
Ability to execute high‑volume production.
Open availability to accommodate rotating shifts including frequent evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs routinely and manage >80 lbs with team lift.
Background & Physical Demands
Function in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Work extended hours and rotating schedules.
Safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts.
Stand, walk, reach, grasp frequently; be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic materials.
Occasionally be exposed to wet, cold, heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise.
Adhere to safety guidelines for lifting and movement.
