Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Manages the Graded Room Inspection program by recording results, ensuring inspections are performed on a timely and fair basis. Inspects rooms and conducts training, coaching and discipline as needed to improve inspector performance. Personally inspects all VIP guest rooms to ensure their requests are completed. Inspects common areas to improve the performance of house attendants. Researches guest recoveries and complaints to correct the source of service failures. Implements plans for all housekeeping team members as directed by executive leadership and communicates priority department developments. Assists room inspectors in daily opening and closing operations and morning briefings. Monitors daily laundry process to ensure quality production and provides direction to laundry leads and attendants. Performs monthly linen inventories at both hotels and provides a recap of current monthly inventory levels and ordering needs. Assists the Executive Housekeeper in ordering hotel supplies within budget. Manages the Recognition and Retention program to improve performance and morale of all team members. Prepares weekly department schedules to meet business demand and labor budget limitations. Tracks weekly labor hours to stay within budget and maintains the daily guest room attendant labor report to identify productivity issues and address them. Assists in all training efforts and professional development of housekeeping team members, including the completion of Casino Essentials for all team members. Conducts safety audits of the hotel and ensures all team members follow proper safety procedures, addressing all unsafe conditions. Follows the Thoughtful Service model at all times. Supervisory Responsibilities

Assists with direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit. Carries out shift management responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws. Interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications

Education:

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to three years’ experience in hotel guest room service and/or hotel operations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming License. Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees. Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates and percentages, and interpret bar graphs. Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office products; strong skills in Microsoft Excel preferred. Access to Gaming Facility:
