Resident Care Associate - 2nd & 3rd Shift - Full Time, Part Time, & PRN at Viva Senior Living Easley, SC Responsibilities
Provide the highest quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in assisted living and memory care. Provide hands-on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP). Maintain a safe, home-like environment; demonstrate wellness elements in accordance with federal, state and local standards and Viva policies. Respond to resident call bells promptly and take appropriate action; reset call bells when needed. Check residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition; ensure rooms are tidy and beds are made. Practice proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions. Assist with laundry in resident rooms and common areas; coordinate with housekeeping for cleanliness and safety of chemicals. Complete all activities of daily living (ADLs) for assigned residents per PSP. Report issues to the Director of Nursing (DON) as needed. Shift Details
Hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts PRN - pick shifts up as needed Part Time - 25 hours Full Time - 40 hours Qualifications
High school education preferred and may be required by the state Previous experience working with elders preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living, dementia care or skilled nursing preferred Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours Benefits
