We are seeking a dedicated and reliable mechanical laborer to join our dynamic solar installation team. As a Solar Technician, you will assist in assembling racking systems, installing solar panels, and supporting equipment management. This position requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reports to the Mechanical Foreman.

What you’ll do
Solar Panel Installation: Assist in the assembly and installation of racking systems and solar panels, ensuring all components are securely and accurately positioned. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Mechanical Foreman and fellow technicians to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications. Equipment Handling: Under supervision, manage and transport tools and materials to and from the job site, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment. Problem Solving: Address and resolve minor issues that may arise during installation, escalating more complex problems to the Mechanical Foreman as needed. Training and Development: Participate in on‑the‑job training to enhance skills and knowledge related to solar installations and safety practices. Requirements
Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred; experience in solar installations is a plus. Comfortable working outdoors and at heights. Ability to use hand and power tools safely; basic understanding of electrical systems is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. OSHA 10‑hour certification or willingness to obtain. Benefits
