SCOPE OF JOB
As a pastry cook, you will liaise with the executive chef and other chefs, overseeing the baking of pastries for confectionary displays, scheduled events, and special requests.
Main Responsibilities
Consulting with the executive chef and other chefs.
Executing pastry orders for catered events and accommodating special requests.
Demonstrating skill in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies.
Creating enticing confectionery decorations and pastry fillings while staying abreast of new techniques.
Adding innovative pastry items to the existing menu.
Monitoring and maintaining specialized pastry baking equipment.
Preparing pastry dishes according to company guidelines and standards.
Coordinating timely readiness of pastries, desserts, and cakes for service.
Controlling costs and monitoring stock levels and movements.
Implementing company policy, procedures, health and safety codes.
Following HACCP food safety policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts
Level of Experience
Previous experience in the same or similar position.
Previous food handling experience.
Skills & Knowledge
Knowledge of Greek or English language.
Excellent food handling skills.
Knowledge of various pastry procedures and methods.
Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of hygiene, health & safety and licensing regulations.
Personality Characteristics
