Description
The Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is seeking to fill a part‑time Cook position (22 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays). Under the direction of the Food Service Coordinator, the Cook will carry out all standards and procedures established, prepare evening meals, and provide supervision and training to residents assigned to the kitchen. Must be able to work independently without assistance in preparing, cooking, and serving meals to a large group within the designated meal period times.
Applicants should have a satisfactory combination of education, training and experience in food service and preparation, purchasing, and sanitation to enable them to assist the head of an institutional dietary service and demonstrate proven ability to supervise.
