Mold Cleaner Technician - Tooling
Adams Manufacturing Corp, part of the Keter U.S. Group, seeks an entry‑level Mold Cleaner Technician for its Tooling Department in Portersville, PA.
Hours: Monday‑Friday 7 am‑3:30 pm; occasional weekends/after‑hours on call/OT. Overtime may be required.
Starting Wage: $22.50 per hour.
Summary The Mold Cleaner Technician will clean, inspect, and maintain molds, change slides and inserts, and perform basic machining and repair tasks.
Responsibilities
Clean, maintain and visually inspect molds in the press, entering data into the system.
Change slides and inserts on molds.
Perform basic machining operations.
Assist with repairs on molds weighing 500‑70,000 pounds.
Keep shop area clean and organized.
Follow all Keter safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by Lead Tech or Manager.
Requirements
Complete forklift and crane training class.
Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
Online training on mold components and functions.
Calm communication in a fast‑paced environment.
Frequent climbing and lifting capability.
Basic knowledge of surface grinder, drill press, manual mill, and lathe.
Use measuring equipment: micrometers, dial calipers, height gauge, gauge pins, dial indicator.
Basic computer, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
3‑5 years manufacturing experience; prior mold maintenance experience a plus.
Good attendance and policy record; internal applicants less than 2 points.
Strong work ethic, time management, teamwork ability.
