You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will use your discretion to turn each interaction into a memorable moment.

Responsibilities

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.

Set tables according to service standards.

Answer questions on menu selections.

Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recon, and product availability.

Relay additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.

Record the transaction in the MICROS system at the time of order.

Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.

Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.

Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments.

Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.

Run food and bus tables when you have extra time.

Anticipate and address guests' service needs.

Speak with others using clear and professional language.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to reach common goals.

Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.

Thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.

Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front‑of‑house employees.

Practice effective listening.

Perform related duties as required.

Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and general property.

Be familiar with all hotel services, features, and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries accurately.

Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non‑alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes.

Ensure all side‑work is completed in a timely manner.

Ensure all guest counts are rung in for each check.

Close checks within ten minutes of payment.

Record guest name, table number, and room number on all checks.

Participate in ongoing training and encourage personal development of all associates.

Qualifications

Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol; previous food and beverage service experience preferred.

Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required.

Familiarity with restaurant terminology and food service techniques is preferred.

Strong communicator who creates experiences beyond the expected.

Fluent in English both verbally and through legible writing.

Compensation Base Pay Start Rate: $16.50/Hr. +Tips!
