Position Information
Position Type: Part Time/Full Time
Pay Rate: $20-22
Key Responsibilities
Meal Preparation & Service: Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of foods for residents, ensuring high‑quality meals.
Baking: Bake rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies, following recipes and dietary specifications.
Tray Line Service: Work on the tray line during meal service to ensure residents' meals are served efficiently and accurately.
Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean kitchen, including hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans.
General Cleaning: Clean kitchen areas and perform related tasks as needed.
Cook Requirements
Experience: Minimum one year of experience in large‑scale cooking.
Leadership: Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Team Player: Should be a strong team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of large‑scale and therapeutic food preparation.
