As a Restaurant Server, you will create memorable dining experiences for guests by providing courteous, efficient, and attentive service while ensuring they feel welcome throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and beverage options. Guide guests through the menu and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly. Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established service standards. Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to any requests or concerns. Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before delivering them to guests. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables as needed. Collaborate effectively with other team members to provide seamless service and contribute to a positive work environment. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Server in a full‑service, fast‑paced restaurant. Minimum 1 year of polished casual dining experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and remain calm under pressure. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Skills Required
Serving – Intermediate Behaviors Required
Team Player: Works well as a member of a group. Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest. Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a task with all necessary details. Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity. Education Required: High School or better. Serving Licenses & Certifications Required
Food Handler Certificate Physical Demands
Regular lifting, moving, and carrying of food items, furniture, and garbage up to 30 pounds. Regular standing, walking inside and outside the restaurant during a 6–8 hour shift with appropriate breaks. Regular ascending/descending stairs.
