About the Role
The Welder supports manufacturing operations by performing production welding on a variety of assemblies. This role is responsible for setting up, and performing light maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent output. What You’ll Do
The Welder works from prints and work instructions to fixture, tack, and weld steel assemblies while selecting proper equipment and settings to meet quality standards. This role includes operating forklifts and hand tools, handling raw materials, performing light equipment maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The Welder uses the ERP system for production tracking, supports inspections and material handling, cross-trains on additional production equipment as needed, and participates in continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years welding experience Ability to safely and effectively operate welding and fabrication equipment Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with personnel and read and interpret documents, such as welding blueprints Proficient with mathematical calculations and use of measuring devices Benefits
