Delta Gear, an aerospace company, is an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures gear products, prototype/production, and transmission builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non‑destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.
Shift Hours
1st Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (1–2 hours daily overtime and some weekends)
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 4:00 pm – 12:30 am (1–2 hours daily overtime and some weekends)
Responsibilities
Set up and run various CNC milling equipment.
Work with tooling, cutter technology, and part fixturing.
Conduct in-process inspection and first-piece approvals.
Accountable for part conformance to requirements.
Use existing and develop new programming for newly machined parts.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Two years minimum experience in setup and running of various CNC milling equipment.
Ability to indicate diameters and faces on pieces to be machined.
Knowledge of GD&T and process sketches.
Feed rate and machining best practices on various types of metals.
Work Environment
Must be able to lift 25–40 lbs.
Frequent standing, twisting, and bending.
