Aircraft Engine Mechanic – Kalitta Turbines Kalitta Turbines is a certified FAA Repair Station that has maintained, serviced, and repaired TFE731 and CF34-3 engines since 1986. With an extensive inventory and expertise in turbine engines, we provide critical parts and services to keep aircraft operational at all times. Responsibilities

Disassemble, inspect, and assemble engines according to Manufacturer’s Manuals.

Perform engine removals and installations on‑wing.

Read OEM Manuals and use precision measuring tools.

Perform repair processes to engine components.

Multi‑task, respect/maintain confidentiality, be service‑oriented, trustworthy/ethical, and respectful of diverse populations/cultures.

Work at a fast pace, handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude.

Requirements

Aircraft engine experience preferred.

Experience with CF34 and TFE-731 engines.

Airframe & Powerplant License required.

Must be available full‑time and work overtime when required.

Candidate must pass DOT/FAA pre‑employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.

Candidate must understand, read and write English.

Candidate must be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized and able to manage and be managed.

Candidate must be reliable, punctual and flexible.

Education High School Graduate or GED.

Physical Requirements

Employees are regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Moderate to heavy lifting is required.

Location Requirements

Operation based in Ypsilanti, MI.

No ability to work from home.

Shift Requirements

Must be available full‑time and work overtime when required.

Other Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
