Kalitta Charters II specializes in scheduled and on-demand narrow-body freighter operations. In 2003, aviator and NHRA World Champion, Doug Kalitta, set out to provide a safe and reliable solution to a complex logistics problem. This problem entailed moving freight across the Americas for our customers… overnight!

The duties and responsibilities consist of and include, but are not limited to, the following:
Plan and create future schedules to ensure all aircraft are fully staffed
Interact with crewmembers and process sick calls, flight cancellations, operational re-assignments, crew swaps, and crew travel
Process crew re-assignments during irregular operations like weather delays, ATC delays, and maintenance issues
Book hotels and travel as required for crews
Ensure all crewmember assignments and rest periods are in compliance with company policy and FAA regulations
Create and distribute daily turnover reports
Enter crewmember duty information into approved crew tracking software.
Communicate closely with other operations staff on crew assignment issues
Act as a company ambassador to all crewmembers
Requirements Education Requirements:
Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses, & Document Requirements:
A valid unrestricted driver’s license
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Experience & Professional Skills:
Previous Part 121/135 Crew Scheduling experience preferred
Intermediate MS Office skills preferred
Work Environment & Culture Skills:
Candidate must be able to read, write, and understand English
Physical Requirements:
Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
Light to moderate lifting is may be required (up to 30lbs)
Location Requirements:
Position based in Ypsilanti, MI at Willow Run Airport (YIP)
There is no ability to work from home
There will be no relocation package for this position
A hotel may be provided for up to 2 weeks during relocation
Shift Requirements:
4 on 4 off, 8pm-8am (12 hour shift)
Work schedules will vary as Kalitta Charters II operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year
