We are seeking a reliable and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. This role is essential in ensuring that sheet metal parts are accurately formed to specifications and meet the company’s quality standards.
Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or punch sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and measurement tools to ensure accuracy.
Select proper tooling and dies for each job, and perform adjustments as needed.
Inspect parts during and after production to verify conformance to specifications.
Maintain equipment by performing basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues.
Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Minimum Education None
Minimum Years of Experience 2-4
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in metal fabrication preferred (willing to train motivated candidates).
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use precision measuring instruments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
