Mechanical SME – US, Ohio – 12‑24 Months Contract

We’re looking for a Mechanical SME to join the team and help deliver this world‑class program.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the installation quality of piping, equipment setting/alignment, supports, and utility tie‑ins.
Monitor weld completion, hydro/pneumatic testing, flushing, and passivation of high‑purity systems.
Lead walkdowns with CQ and owners for Non‑PVP mechanical MC sign‑offs.
Align vendor package deliveries and rigging/installation sequences with Node schedule.
Track discipline productivity and identify constructability challenges before they cause delays.
Provide real‑time solutions to field conflicts and sequencing issues, preventing rework or schedule slips.
What You’ll Need
OSHA 30 (required). ASME B31.3 or equivalent piping/pressure qualifications desirable.
Extensive mechanical field oversight on large CAPEX projects (>$500 m), with proven experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, semiconductor, or food/industrial manufacturing.
Hands‑on knowledge of high‑purity and process piping systems, utilities (WFI, clean steam, gases), and vendor package installation.
Proven track record of weld/test pack management, flushing/passivation, and redline/test dossier completion.
