This role involves setting up and operating Haas CNC mills (including 5-axis machines), ensuring precision and quality for complex aerospace components. Responsibilities
Set up and operate Haas CNC mills, including 5-axis machines. Read and interpret setup sheets, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. Build fixtures, set up tools, and perform first article inspections. Check and log dimensions to ensure compliance with specifications. Run production parts and maintain quality standards. Occasionally set up manual knee mills for drill/tap and reaming applications. Collaborate with leads and team members to optimize setups and maintain workflow. Qualifications
5+ years experience setting up and operating Haas CNC mills (preferably 5-axis). Strong knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement tools (micrometers, indicators). Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints. Aerospace experience strongly preferred; ITAR familiarity required. Safety-conscious and detail-oriented. Seniority level
