Annual Bonus Placement Manager @ AP Executive Staffing | Workforce Solutions
The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Swiss-style and Mill-Turn CNC machines to produce highprecision components used in medical and surgical applications. This role requires strong technical machining skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and to exact specifications. The machinist will work closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support production goals. Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate Swiss-style and Mill-Turn CNC machines Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and engineering documentation Edit and troubleshoot G-code and CNC tool paths Produce precision components to tight tolerances and print specifications Perform in-process inspections and make necessary machine adjustments Identify and resolve machining and process-related issues Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process improvements Support training and mentoring of less experienced machinists and operators Participate in productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives (Level III candidates may also support prototyping efforts, write CNC macros, and assist with KPI tracking and mentoring.) Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Three or more years of CNC machining experience in a production environment Experience with Swiss-style and or Mill-Turn CNC machines Advanced G-code programming and machine setup experience Multi-axis machining experience (3+ axis) Ability to machine tight-tolerance precision components Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability Preferred Qualifications Trade school or technical training CAM software experience such as PartMaker or Esprit Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing environments Knowledge of SPC and quality systems Seniority level
