Full‑time, night shift

Location: East Longmeadow, MA | Salary: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Tasks

Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment to meet customer and production goals.

Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.

Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.

Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work‑in‑progress regulations.

Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.

Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.

Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized, meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.

Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures, wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.

Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.

Effectively works with other departments or team members—such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors—to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred.

2‑4 years’ experience in a related field required.

This position has no leadership duties.

Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

Exceptional time‑management and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and establish priorities to meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision‑making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

Self‑confident, self‑motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast‑paced environment.
