Job Summary
The level 1E machine operator is responsible for operating one 12‑head embroidery machine and ensuring a high level of quality and production. The operator will remain in training until fully certified and then move to a level 1 operator.
Compensation
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Duties/Responsibilities
Meet and exceed production standards Meet and exceed quality standards Verify product and components are correct Prepare product for production Prepare machine for production Remove excess threads and debris from product Remove Pellon from inside of product Perform minor machine maintenance Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Ability to follow verbal instructions Ability to problem solve Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment Ability to perform quality control Possess a positive attitude
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED Manufacturing experience preferred
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to use hands, fingers, and arms to touch, handle, pinch or grasp Demonstrate fine dexterity skills Walk, bend, reach, kneel, and crouch Lift up to 50 pounds Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
Work Environment
Exposure to moderate noise level
Vision Requirement
Close and distance vision Color vision Ability to thread a needle
Personal Protective Equipment
Closed‑toe footwear required on the production floor as needed
Schedule
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with overtime (Saturday 7 am – noon) as required
