Job Title Mechanic II

Location Jacksonville, FL - onsite

Shift Thursday - Sunday, Dayshift

Purpose of Role This position will support the FC by performing maintenance work on the conveyor system, robotics, and related equipment. Maintenance involves, but is not limited to, the following trades: electrical, mechanical, welding / metal fabrication, and PIT repair. The role also involves equipment installation and repair, generation of reports, inventory of maintenance/facility parts.

Responsibilities

Maintain and/or replace conveyor, V-belts, gear boxes, and motor controls (drive cards)

Test, maintain, install, repair and calibrate equipment (sorters, conveyor, lifts, box sizers, PIT, etc.)

Perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM)

Perform Breakdown Analysis and utilize PLC

Perform daily equipment walkthrough

Read schematics

Conduct electromechanics, robotics, and mechanical troubleshooting

Assist maintenance team as needed

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience maintaining FC/DC machinery and conveyance.

Excellent mechanical and electrical abilities (up to 480V).

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Regularly lift up to 20 lbs throughout the shift and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist or crouch for entirety of shift.
