Position Summary: As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools and resources, and mentor new technicians.
Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and POS systems.
Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems.
Communicate equipment needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, audit safety, and complete required documentation.
Model high‑quality service and products, develop influencing and inspiring others, and support a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented culture.
Execute business processes with integrity, hold self and others accountable, and support the company’s regenerative goals.
Deliver results while putting the customer first and make decisions based on reliable information.
Qualifications
Valid State‑issued Driver's License.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Auto service industry, Retail Experience.
Compensation Base pay range $18.00/hr – $25.00/hr. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
