Position Summary: As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets our members’ expectations.
Base Pay Range $18.00/hr – $25.00/hr
What You’ll Do
Be a Team Member : Collaborate with team members to fulfil sales and service requests; educate associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
Be an Expert : Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, Point of Sale systems, phone, and in‑person selling techniques.
Be a Techie : Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner : Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead; track and monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; work hands‑on in the physical area; maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety and compliance standards; report complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services and work areas; complete paperwork, logs and other required documentation; identify member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions; and resolve issues and concerns.
Be a Talent Ambassador : Be a brand advocate by valuing the member’s experience in the TBC area and modelling high‑quality service and products; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training team members.
Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt and learn from change, difficulty and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
Valid State‑issued Driver’s License.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
