The Fleet Mechanic will complete preventative maintenance activities and maintain fleet records regarding vehicles. This position will uphold AWP’s core values and mission of protecting our customers’ people, business and time. The Fleet Mechanic position is responsible for repairs and routine maintenance within the assigned facility or remote locations when needed. Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance activities Keep equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; complete preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, brake systems and electrical devices. Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conduct inspections; repair engine failures; repair mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replace parts and components. Perform repair and maintenance of fleet equipment and various equipment including serialized equipment such as arrow boards and message boards. Inspect and evaluate fleet and equipment. Adhere to maintenance programs and procedures. Monitor and maintain vehicle equipment standards. Other duties as assigned. Seniority Level
