Role Description This is a full‐time role for a CNC Machinist, and it requires on‑site work at the Stre Designs facility in Cannonsburg, MI. The Machinist will assist in operating and programming CNC machines and perform tasks such as programming, machining components, conducting quality checks, maintaining equipment, and reading blueprints. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members to meet production goals and helping ensure high standards of precision and craftsmanship in line with the company's ethos.
What you will work with
Autodesk Fusion 360
Haas and DN Solutions CNC mills/lathes
High‑visual aluminum, brass, steel, plastic and stainless parts
Prototypes, small batches, and custom production runs
CAD Modeling
Qualifications
2+ years of machining (this is not an entry level position)
Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines and using related tools and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
Basic understanding of materials such as aluminum, steel, brass, and plastics
Experience with quality inspection tools and techniques to ensure precision manufacturing
Good problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work on‑site in a hands‑on, collaborative environment
Background in manufacturing, machining, or a related technical field is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
Must be able to pass drug and background check
