CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
Set up, operate and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) according to specifications
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine machining requirements
Select proper tooling, speeds, feeds and machine settings for efficient and precise production
Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges and other precision instruments
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency
Requirements for CNC Machinist:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of CNC machines, tooling and programming
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical documents
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred
Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required (up to 50 pounds)
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
