Position: Litigation Paralegal
Job Description: We are accepting applications for a Litigation Paralegal to assist lawyers in a plaintiff litigation practice. Responsibilities include preparing pleadings, assisting with discovery, document review and organization, and supporting hearings and trials.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all stages of complex litigation.
Support all phases of discovery (drafting, fact gathering, document analysis, document productions, deposition and witness interview preparation).
Maintain and organize electronic case files for efficient team access.
Manage all aspects of electronic discovery: document review and productions, loading and coding documents, bates numbering, logging productions, and searching eDiscovery databases.
Support trial preparation: create trial notebooks, organize exhibits, coordinate witness schedules, maintain trial calendars, and communicate with opposing counsel and courtroom staff.
Coordinate, review, and maintain project status tracking charts, including tasks and deliverables.
Conduct factual research for attorney projects.
Assist with document searches, review, and analysis across various platforms.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and outside parties as approved by attorneys.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience as a plaintiff litigation paralegal, preferably in US companies.
Proficient in legal research and document retention databases for fact and legal research and managing complex evidence and case files.
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe PDF manipulation.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
Positive, can-do attitude and flexible approach.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
Handle complex, confidential, or sensitive tasks with discretion and diplomacy.
Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.
Salary: $1,200 - $1,200 a month
