Role Overview This role requires excellent organizational, research, and drafting skills, as well as the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical malpractice defense litigation support within a law firm environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management

Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, and discovery materials

Assist in preparing medical chronologies

Calendar deadlines, court dates, and manage case logistics

Conduct legal research and compile supporting case materials

Interview clients and summarize key information

Help explain legal terminology and case processes to clients

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of law firm paralegal experience (med mal defense litigation required)

Proficient in drafting legal documents across various litigation phases

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

Strong computer skills and familiarity with legal software/databases

Paralegal Associate’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate required

Compensation & Location Salary $60,000 - $85,000 per year Location: Fort Worth, TX
