Work as a
Workers' Compensation Paralegal
in our Workers' Compensation department. You will assist in all phases of the workers’ comp process and apply your knowledge of South Carolina Workers’ Comp laws. Superior client/customer service skills are a must.
Responsibilities
Handling all aspects of workers’ compensation cases from initial client intake through resolution and disbursement
Draft pleadings and motions
Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)
Keep track of and adhere to filing deadlines
Interact with clients and opposing counsel as necessary
Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings
Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
Request medical records and bills
Skills & Qualifications
Proven working experience as a workers' compensation paralegal
Work well in a team environment
Highly organized
Effective at multi‑tasking and prioritizing assignments
Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
Job Type:
Full-time
Salary:
$50,000 – $60,000 per year, dependent on experience.
