Job Summary This is a full‑time, direct‑placement role at Tech Mechanical. For more than 30 years, Tech Mechanical has served commercial and industrial HVAC customers throughout the Massachusetts and New Hampshire area. We are actively seeking two industry‑experienced Journeyman or Master Refrigeration Technicians with experience in commercial HVAC. Responsibilities

Respond to service calls as dispatched through our digital ticketing system.

Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, MUA, dry coolers, split systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, VRF, VAV, FPT, WSHPs, etc.

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment per industry standards and client requirements.

Apply industry best‑practices: clean, deburr, flow nitro when brazing, triple evacuation, change oil in pumps, etc.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and low‑voltage electrical issues.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job in the digital ticketing system prior to leaving the site.

Respond to emergency repair requests and participate in the on‑call rotation schedule.

Act as a representative of the company while on site.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.

Valid Journeyman or Master Refrigeration Technician (RT) license (Massachusetts).

Minimum of five years experience working in commercial/industrial HVAC.

Hot Work certification, OSHA 10, Silica Hazard Training (preferred).

Mobile Elevated Work Platform Safety certification.

EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).Ability to use a digital ticketing system to track work orders and site history.

Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, system operation, controls, and refrigeration principles.

Ability to use diagnostic instruments and cabinet‑based HMI to troubleshoot equipment.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and work at heights as needed.

Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary: $50 – $55 per hour.
