A fiberglass laminator creates components for boats by applying fiberglass to a mold. The laminator ensures that all areas of the mold are covered in sufficient resin‑saturated fiberglass matting, using a chop gun or hands to press the resin into the mold. Spraying, laying, and pressing the fiberglass removes air bubbles, and resins are mixed and cured. The position includes tasks such as removing the cured product from the mold and managing resin mixtures. Responsibilities

Ensure required parts and raw materials are ready to run when scheduled. Arrange material in the correct order or pattern based on documentation. Spray fiberglass and/or lay sheets of fiberglass on part mold. Press fiberglass layers into place and use a roller to smooth wrinkles or voids. Operate fiberglass chop guns, hands, arms, and rollers in handling and positioning. Use mil gauge for gel coats and fiberglass to apply the correct amount of material. Keep material storage area clean and tidy. Participate in continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives. Participate in EH&S and quality initiatives. Operate material handling equipment such as platform trucks, forklifts, aerial work platforms, pallet jacks, overhead hoist, etc. Wear personal protective equipment as required (respirators, gloves, chemical‑resistant aprons/suits). Experience / Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to read, hear, and interpret written and verbal instructions and exchange accurate information. Physical Requirements

Proactive team player, self‑starter with attention to improvement. Excellent reasoning, research, and problem‑solving skills. Basic reading comprehension, writing skills, and ability to work from verbal and written instructions. Strong focus and organization with high attention to detail. Ability to work with multiple priorities and people. Capacity for high energy and creative thinking. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Familiarity with MRP software and systems. Marine experience preferred, but not required. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods. Comfortable in a non‑climate‑controlled shop floor. Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, reach, climb, and lift up to 35 lbs. Vision abilities including close, peripheral, and depth perception. Shifts

Multiple shifts available. Standard schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required. Hourly shift differential available for night shift and weekends. Compensation

The anticipated pay range is $18.00 to $27.40 per hour. Base pay will vary based on experience, business needs, and location. Benefits
