Job Title: Welder Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Compensation: $18.00–$23.00 per hour — paid weekly Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Weekend Shift About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Welder workers for a leading manufacturing company in Sauk Rapids, MN. In this role, you’ll perform high quality TIG and orbital welding while supporting an innovative, fast growing production environment. What You’ll Do as a Welder: Set up and operate TIG and orbital welding machines Read blueprints and specifications to complete accurate welds Perform mechanical set-ups and changeovers Inspect welds using gauges to verify quality standards Support team goals for quality and on time delivery Assist Engineering in developing advanced welding processes Follow all safety rules to prevent accidents What You Need to Bring to the Welder Role: 2 year Welding Technology degree (or currently enrolled), or equivalent experience 3+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel (less required with degree) Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math Experience in cleanroom or high purity environments preferred Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is a plus Basic computer skills and ability to work in a fast paced team environment Why You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp to hire opportunities for long term stability where applicable.
