Job Description
Nemco Food Equipment is committed to the manufacturing and on‑time delivery of components to assembly operations. The role involves setting up and operating CNC brake presses to produce parts that meet blueprint specifications and tolerances, managing quality record documentation, and conducting incoming, in‑process, and outgoing quality assessments. Responsibilities
Follow work order routings and complete associated paperwork in accordance with established procedures. Perform first‑piece inspection of manufactured parts to meet blueprint specifications and tolerances, adjusting setups as necessary to ensure quality. Train new operators in the setup and operation of CNC machines as required. Become proficient on various machines with moderate supervisory or crew‑leader instruction. Communicate machine‑related issues (e.g., equipment downtime or damage) and part availability to supervisors or crew leaders. Qualifications
At a minimum, you must have, or be willing to learn, the following: Ability to set up and operate machinery. Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions and procedures. Ability to use measuring tools. Operating a forklift safely. Ability to keep workspace clean and organized. Relevant Work Experience:
Experience as a machine operator in a production environment is preferred. Physical Requirements
Standing: Most tasks are performed standing with intermittent walking. Lifting: Frequently lifting 5–10 lb items; occasionally up to 50 lb. Walking: Frequent short distances ( Carrying: Occasional carrying of bulky items up to 50 lb. Pushing/Pulling: Use of hand truck or carts to move skids or parts short distances. Bending: Occasional bending. Reaching: Frequent reaching to load/unload parts from fixtures, tubs, carts, or pallets. Handling: Frequent handling of parts 5–10 lb. Gripping: Frequent gripping of parts. Seniority Level
