We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Reprocessing Technician to play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and surgical teams across various departments, including inpatient, outpatient, Operating Room (OR), Emergency Room (ER), Delivery Room (DR), and satellite locations.

In This Role, You Will
Maintain a sterile environment by cleaning, inspecting, assembling, packaging, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure all sterilization processes (steam, ETOH, Sterrad, high-level disinfectants) comply with established standards.
Proactively anticipate and fulfill the instrumentation needs for upcoming cases, assembling procedure-specific carts.
Receive, unpack, shelve, and maintain appropriate inventory levels of surgical supplies.
Collaborate with surgical teams to guarantee the availability of necessary supplies for each patient.
Work closely with surgeons to prepare case carts based on their preference cards, ensuring all necessary supplies, equipment, instruments, and implants are readily available.
Education/Experience Required
High School graduate or equivalent.
Completion of a medical terminology course is preferred.
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and hospital personnel.
Computer skills.
Certifications/Licenses Required
Central Service Certification.
BCLS preferred.
