Responsibilities
Perform specialized welding tasks on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance welding skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional welding certifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a welder, with expertise in specialized welding techniques.
Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks effectively.
