Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes.

Operate various welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components according to specifications.

Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting metal to precise dimensions.

Inspect finished welds for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE.

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components based on engineering drawings.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in multiple welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent.

Strong understanding and adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Additional AWS or specific material (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum) welding certifications.

Proficiency in reading complex blueprints and performing basic fabrication and fitting.

Experience with minor maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.

Familiarity with quality control procedures and weld inspection techniques.
