Industrial Maintenance Technician
A Snapshot of Your Day The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating equipment to ensure optimal production performance. This role requires strong technical skills in welding, fabrication, print reading, and troubleshooting, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
Weld and fabricate metal components using MIG, TIG, and Stick techniques.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in SAP.
Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
What You Bring
Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret technical prints and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of bearings, gears, belts, and other mechanical components.
Basic electrical knowledge, including circuits and wiring.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Computer literacy for SAP and work order management.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with PLCs and automated systems preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
